Our Story
We started Litterbox Refresh in Chico, California in March 2024 with a focus on litterbox cleaning. One of our early customers asked if we could re-rope a cat tree. At the same time, our own tree was worn out, so we tried restoring it instead of tossing it. It looked brand new and our cats loved it.
That experience showed us the impact restoration can have. Cats want their tree, not a replacement. Restoring reduces waste, and keeps cats happy. That insight became the start of Scratch Again. After growing Litterbox Refresh to 50 customers and selling the Chico business, we moved to Sacramento to dedicate ourselves full-time to cat tree restoration
